London to screen four Iranian films

Four Iranian flicks have been slated to screen November 4 at a film festival in the British capital city of London.

Iranian films ‘Poets of Life’, ‘Season of Narges’, ‘Yellow’ and ‘Privacy’ are scheduled to screen at the upcoming London Iranian Film Festival in the UK.

‘Poets of Life’ directed by Shirin Barghnavard is a documentary about Shirin Parsi, who returns to Iran and begins rice farming after receiving a BA in French Literature from the University of Paris. Her family promotes sustainable farming and refrains from using chemical pesticides and fertilizers.

‘Season of Narges’ directed by Negar Azarbaijani narrates a story on organ donation while Ahmad Moazemi's 'Privacy' pivots on dangers lurking in cyberspace for the youth.

The synopsis of ‘Yellow’ directed by Mostafa Taghizadeh also reads, “We are strange people... Our present is very different to our future.”

The London Iranian Film Festival will hold the screening on November 4th at King’s College Greenwood Theater.
